The health risks of radiation from 5G are being debated, however one study suggests the connection between RF radiation and the development of cancers in male rats. This study was classified until it was declassified in 2012 by the Central Intelligence Agency, but it shows that radiofrequency can trigger cancerous growth in animal, and even humans. In the research, scientists were exposed to male rodents for 15 days and discovered that they developed the same types of cancers as humans do.




Health impacts of 5G radiation
The rapid expansion of wireless communication has led to the development of 5G systems however, there is a growing concern regarding the health risks of 5G radiation. While  5g towers radiation  do not affect the body as much as older technologies, scientists have identified potential health effects that are systemic and have called for further studies. To ensure that the population is safe to protect the population, it is the European Commission is requesting independent studies to determine whether the technology is posing any health risks.

It is important to note that there's a substantial number of misinformation about 5G's effects on health and it is vital to dispel any doubts that remain. Although the technology isn't yet widely used but there are many who are being warned that it could cause health issues typically through social networks where sensational words are used.

Beamforming  5g radiation
Beamforming is among the most important technologies for 5G mobile networks. It is a method that uses several radiating elements to produce narrow beam. The purpose in beamforming is minimize how much unwanted radiation is reflected that is in the signal that results. This method is typically employed in wireless communication systems, and is essential for 5G's cost-effective coverage.

This technique is based on electronically weighing the signals of each antenna. This results in an extremely smaller beam of radiation which increases cell coverage indoors and near cell edges. This technique is important since poor coverage could lead to lower user satisfaction. Apart from increasing the signal, beamforming reduces the amount of interference that a user experiences from other devices.

Power density
The energy density of 5G radiation emanating from towers on cell phones will be comparable to that of previous generations of 3G and 4G systems. One reason behind the low power density lies in the electrical components' sensitivity. The maximum radiation output for the 2G handset was around 2 Watts. The output of a 4G phone was approximate 200 milliwatts.

The power density measures the amount of electromagnetic energy that is absorbed by the body from a particular distance. The power density of radiation 5g is typically expressed in watts per square metres. Contrary to the SAR measurement, power density is a measure of the amount of electromagnetic energy that can be found in an area.  5g towers radiation  can be different for mobile devices and wearables according to their operating frequencies and distance.

Specific absorption
The Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) is a parameter which measures the speed at which a certain frequency deposits power into human tissues. In generally, the SAR should not exceed two watts per kilogram of body mass. This value is derived through the electrostatic field within tissues and the mass density, measured as kilograms for each cubic meter. It was recently used to determine the antenna design.

The new radio technologies that make up the network 5G operate in frequencies that are below 6 GHz. These frequencies are also known by the name millimeter wave. However according to the FCC's SAR compliance program is only applicable to frequencies up to 6 GHz. Additionally, the SAR test requires that measurements are conducted with phantoms made of tissues simulating media.

Skin health effects
At present, we are not aware of the health impacts of 5G radiation in the body. Our knowledge of the subject is limited due to the absence of in-vivo studies and theoretical models. However, there is an urgent need to conduct more studies on the impacts of 5G radio frequency radiation on the human skin. The use of 5G radio frequencies could cause skin damage specifically to the epidermis, which is one of the most sensitive parts.

Unlike 4G, 5G radiation has a high frequency that has been shown to cause heat to human tissues. Human bodies are dipolar, which means that the higher frequency of radio waves from 5G will cause heat in the skin. The exposure to radio frequencies from 5G can also affect other organs in the body, including the brain.
